A prototype green hydrogen system, ready for fabrication
A client developing green hydrogen production needed a prototype system that could be built straight from the drawings, with pipe routing that kept cost and complexity down.

The brief
A prototype process system has to integrate its components accurately and follow the process intent in the P&ID. It also has to change easily, because the next iteration is never far behind.
What we did
Working closely with the client’s team, we turned early concept ideas into manufacturing information. A full parametric 3D assembly covers the structural frames, the process equipment and the pipework, built so it can be modified and scaled.
Pipe routing was laid out for efficiency, access and the relevant industry standards, with custom frames and mounts for the components. Layouts were matched to the process intent in the P&ID with the client’s engineers. The fabrication and installation drawings cover general arrangements, pipe spools, weld maps and assembly details.
Results
- A fabrication-ready prototype system
- Pipe routing laid out for cost, access and the relevant standards
- A parametric model ready for the next iteration
