About SixGate™

SixGate™ is the design-to-manufacture process of F-CAD® Ltd, an engineering company in Glasgow.

Who we work for

Product companies, OEMs, manufacturers and engineering firms with a product to develop or a problem to solve, and a budget committed to it. Some bring us a whole product. Others bring one stage of it, or a part that is giving trouble in production.

How we work

The same engineers take a product from its specification through concept, detail design, analysis and drawings to prototypes and production. Nothing is lost in a handover between a design office, an analysis consultant and a production engineer, because there isn’t one.

Why six stages

A product is easier to fund, manage and change when its development is broken into stages that each end with something you can use: a specification, a concept, a design, a drawing pack, a prototype, a part in production. The name SixGate™ comes from those six stages. The six stages
