Privacy and cookies

sixgate.co.uk is run by F-CAD Ltd, registered in Scotland, company no. SC673963, registered office 220 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5SG. F-CAD Ltd decides how your details are used. Questions about this notice can be sent through the enquiry form or by post to the registered office.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we receive your name, e-mail address, and anything else you choose to give us: company, phone number and the details of your product. The form also records which page you sent it from and, if you arrived from an advert or a campaign link, which one.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, discuss your project and, if you go ahead, prepare a quotation. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us and, where you ask us to quote, on taking steps at your request before a contract. We do not sell your details or add you to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also checks the form for automated spam with Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile looks at technical signals from your browser for that purpose only. Your enquiry is then passed by our workflow service to our e-mail system, which is Microsoft 365. These providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. If you allow the advertising cookie, Google receives information about your visit as described below.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within two years of our last contact. If we work together, project records are kept for as long as we need them for the work, our warranty obligations and the law.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them, by sending a message through the enquiry form or writing to us at the registered office. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own, and its fonts and scripts are served from this site. If we run Google Ads, we ask before using one advertising cookie from Google, which tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to send an enquiry. It is only used if you choose “Allow the cookie”, and you can change your mind with “Cookie settings” at the foot of any page.
